Spoken word is alive in St. Augustine, Florida. Presented by Ancient City Poets, the Heart Pour Sunday Matinee happens on the last Sunday of every month. This will be our tenth gathering. The featured poet is Ezra Blaize, a 21 year old English Education Major at Flagler College. Originally from California, he has lived in St. Augustine since the age of 6. Special guest host will be Kimmy Van Kooten from the Jane's Story Press Foundation. A sign-up sheet will be available 15 minutes before the start of the event for anyone who would like to share a poem or two during the open mic portion of the gathering.
