The Ancient City Poets will host will host a poetry reading on Sunday July 31st from 3 to 5pm, at Gifts For Living, located at 215 West King Street, St. Augustine. The group holds at poetry reading on the last Sunday of the month at this location. Past participants have include such talented and well known poets as Terence Conway, Kimmy Van Kooten, Glenda Bailey-Mershon, Rick Ryan, Michael Henry Lee, and Judith Westley. Coffee, snacks and books by local poets will be available. The theme of the gathering will be the "sights and sounds of summer”. Five minutes / Five poems. Bring a few extra if you want in case we have time for more. A sign-up sheet will be available 15 minutes before start time for all those who would like to share original poems or something from a favorite poet.
